Tomorrow night will see Maidstone United return to National League fixtures as the Stones take on Sutton United at the Gallagher Stadium. Sutton United are currently eighteenth in the league but only four points away from Maidstone.
Maidstone United welcome back Alex Flisher and midfielder Stuart Lewis to the squad both having completed their match suspensions. New loan signing George Oakley is likely to feature in the squad the young twenty-one-year-old striker recently scored four goals in seven games on loan at Welling United.
The Stones will be hoping that Oakley can emulate the form of the recently departed Delano Sam-Yorke and if Oakley can do this the striker will not go far wrong.
It has been a while since the Stones last had a match and hopefully this will not affect the team’s momentum. The Stones are currently five matches unbeaten, but sit just two points above the relegation zone so three points are needed.
The opening of the North Stand tomorrow night is sure to bring the appropriate tone and lively spirit to proceedings and with the return of Lewis and Flisher tomorrow night is setup for an excellent match.
