Maidstone United vs Sutton United player ratings

Lee Worgan – Solid performance by the captain, made some crucial saves in the first half. Rating 9.

Kevin Lokko – Solid at the back another consistent match from the centre back. Rating 9

Jamie Coyle – Very unlucky with the own goal, recovered well and looked solid. Rating 8

Seth Nana Twumasi – Lacked confidence during the game, could be due to the long break in National League fixtures. Decision making has been a lot better in other matches and Seth will admit he can play a lot better.  Normally excellent going forward,  did not get forward enough in this match. Rating 6

Tom Mills – Looked very accomplished and is looking very comfortable at this level assisted Seth at times. Rating 9.

Jack Paxman – All over the park, better when the ball is on the deck, decision making poor at times but could not fault his effort and spirit. Pax is still learning at this level but he has the ability for sure and there is more to come from this young midfielder. Rating 6

Stuart Lewis – Outstanding performance from the midfielder. Lewis was pulling the strings in the midfield alongside Reece Prestedge. Very vocal, passing was excellent switching the play well spraying the ball from left to right and unlucky not to get on the score sheet. Rating 10.

Reece Prestedge – Professional performance, a player who reads the game well and steadies the nerves. Partnership with Stuart Lewis is benefiting the midfield. Rating 9.

Jamar Loza – The tricky skillful winger caused Sutton United many problems always a threat with the ball at his feet. Well taken penalty to level the score and give the team a valuable but deserved point. Rating 9.

Joe Pigott –  Worked hard up front held the ball up well and strong in the air. Joe needed support from another front man and unfortunately Oakley didn’t have the best game even so Joe was always a threat and deserved a goal for his hard work. Rating 9.

George Oakley – A disappointing debut for the young AFC Wimbledon striker he will need time to settle but the Stones will need him to blend quickly. Rating 6

Alex Flisher – Lack of match time no rating will be provided.

Yemi Odubade   – Lack of match time no rating will be provided.

Team Performance – The team worked hard in a contest that was evenly matched in the first half, but the Stones edged it in the second and as the game  approached full time looked the more likely to score a winner. Credit to Jay Saunders for pushing for the win. Maidstone United keep the unbeaten run going and have now resumed National league fixtures. Rating 9.
