Maidstone United vs Barrow player ratings

Lee Worgan – Will admit that he should have stopped the free kick however Worgan recovered well and more than made up for his early mistake. Rating 8.

Seth Nana Twumasi – Better game from Seth, got forward well needs to be more confident defensively but confidence is certainly returning. Rating 8.

Kevin Lokko – Solid performance from the centre back looked very confident, pairing with Coyle developing well. Rating 9.

Jamie Coyle – Solid game from Coyle good on the deck and in the air, looked composed. Rating 9.

Tom Mills – Rarely troubled on the left-hand side dealt with everything thrown at him, got forward well. Rating 9.

Stuart Lewis – Another vintage Lewis display, controlling the centre of midfield with Reece Prestedge allowing Jack Paxman to get forward. Vision, distribution, and positional play all excellent. Rating 10.

Reece Prestedge – Excellent game can calm the nerves and take the sting out of any opposing attack. Reads the game so well, his experience has been invaluable. Rating 10.

Jack Paxman – Lively, confident display from the young hard working attacking midfielder. Jacks development as a player should be noted.  Composed on the ball, excellent passing, good creative flair and unlucky not too score. Rating 10.

Joe Pigott – Hold up play superb, strong and creative reads the game well. Worked hard and scored a well taken goal. Clearly enjoying his football at Maidstone United. Rating 10.

Jamar Loza – Ran the defence raged, close control and ability to turn on a sixpence put one Barrow defender on their backside. Always lively, always a threat can pull several defenders with him creating space. Rating 10.

Alex Flisher – Excellent game for Flisher has established himself a place within the first eleven, just needs goals. Strong on the ball, hold up play excellent, brought other players into the attack well. Able to beat players and his long throw is a real threat to opposing defenders. Rating 10.

Team Rating: 10 Outstanding performance from Maidstone United against promotion chasing Barrow. Excellent tackling, heading, passing,  movement, link up play between all areas of the pitch. A team playing with confidence and belief in themselves and their team mates. A well deserved three points.

Stones fan blog MOM: Jack Paxman  – There were a number of candidates for the MOM award but for me Jack deserves it this week. Jack played with his usual energy and spark but this game there was added quality. Creative through balls, quality strikes excellent link up play and an air of confidence. Saturdays game proved Jack can compete with the best players in the National League. Rating 10.
