Maidstone United vs Lincoln City player ratings

Lee Worgan – Exceptional match from Lee Worgan probably his best game of the season, he was determined to keep a clean sheet in this game. Lee looked lively, communicated well with his back four and positional play was excellent. Rating 10.

Seth Nana Twuamasi – Good game from Seth, looked lively going forward made good attacking runs, good distribution, and ability to beat players going forward is a real asset. Rating 8.

Tom Mills – Superb defensive game from Mills reads the game well.  Covering play excellent covered the right-hand side well, Lincoln were strong overlapping on this side of the pitch so Seth needed the support at times. Kept it tight on the left-hand side Mills is looking very comfortable at this level. Rating 9.

Kevin Lokko – Excellent game from the accomplished centre back, it has been good to see Lokko develop over the course of the season into a strong centre back. Excellent in the air, good on the deck and distribution much improved. Rating 9.

Magnus Okuonghae – Solid first half performance from the accomplished defender but needs more games, building good partnership with Kevin Lokko. Rating 8.

Stuart Lewis – Drifted in and out of the game and found the Lincoln City midfield a challenge. Continued to work hard and battle but looked frustrated at times. Rating 8.

Reece Prestedge – Distribution excellent, got forward, worked hard, and covered well strong performance by the midfielder. Rating 9.

Harry Phipps – Steady game from the eighteen-year-old needs to get on the ball more and needs more games but will develop well alongside Lewis and Prestedge. Rating 7.

Jack Paxman – Paxman found Lincoln City a challenge and didn’t really cause much of an impact when he came on. Jack has played much better battling with Phipps for that final midfield spot. Rating 7.

Bobby-Joe Taylor – Could have made more of an impact than he did, needed to get more shots in and take on the defence. Rating 7.

Yemi Odubade – Quiet game for Yemi expected more of his spinning off, running on the ball and more shots on goal. Rating 7.

Joe Pigott – Battled hard up front sometimes a little isolated but did not give up and kept working hard. Rating 9.

Alex Flisher – Unlucky not too score, needed to get more shots of,  needs to believe in his striking ability as he can strike the ball well but was strong in the air and prepared to take players on. Rating 8.

Jack Richards – First time for me to see this youngster and I feel the lad could be a real Stones superstar for the future, excellent pace, reads the game well and looked lively when he came on. Rating 8.

Stone Fan Blog MOM: Lee Worgan – Excellent game from Worgan if Worgan had not been on top form then Lincoln City would have easily won the match. In the end, he helped us gain a keep a clean sheet. Rating 10.

Team Rating: 9
We can play better, performance in the first half was better than the second, as we tired Lincoln were invited onto us.

However, we drew nil-nil with the league champions so credit where credit is due.
This also demonstrates just how far we have come this season, once again credit to the squad and management team.

Jay Saunders has several players we need to keep at this club.

I believe we are two to three players away from a promotion chasing side and that should be our ambition next season.

Before then we take on Tranmere Rovers at the Gallagher Stadium in our final National league game of the season.

Come on you Stones!!!
